Tim O'Brien

Tim O'Brien serves as the Director of Facilities and Fleet at Omaha Public Power District since April 2013, overseeing operations, maintenance, design, and construction for facilities, along with managing transportation and construction equipment for the fleet. Previously, Tim held various leadership roles focused on economic development, including Director of Economic Development & External Relations, where responsibilities included government relations and community outreach. Prior experience includes roles at the State of Nebraska's Department of Economic Development as Business Development Attraction Manager and Business Development Manager. Tim has also contributed to academia as an adjunct instructor at Doane College. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Management from Doane University and participation in the Energy Executive Course at the University of Idaho.
