Loren P.

Loren P. has extensive experience in synthetic chemistry and drug development, currently serving as Scientist 1 at Omeros Corporation since April 2019. Previously, Loren held the position of Scientist in the Synthetic Technology Group at Pfizer from August 2011 to July 2015, where notable work included solving synthetic chemistry challenges and optimizing chemical processes. Prior to that, Loren accumulated significant expertise in antibacterial research at Pfizer from 2001 to 2011, where responsibilities included designing and synthesizing LpxC inhibitors and prodrugs for Sulopenem, contributing to the development of clinical candidates. Loren holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of West Florida.
