Prior roles at Aftonbladet included News Editor, Project Manager for premium online services, and Deputy News Editor. Markus's earlier career features a correspondent role in Shanghai, China, and various editorial positions at Aftonbladet and other media outlets. Markus's educational background includes studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the University of International Relations, and Uppsala University.
