Ms. Garrett was the Chief Marketing Officer, Global Markets, for IBM Corporation, holding other key company positions including Vice President of Marketing Global Technology Services; P&L owner for the $6B Small and Medium Business for Global Technology Services; and Vice President of Cloud Solutions marketing. She led teams across the software and services portfolios in 170 markets around the world. As the President of M.Power Coaching and Consulting, LLC, Ms. Garrett focuses on developing executive leaders and helping organizations align brand and culture, customer experience, and employee engagement for positive impact on business vitality and growth.

Ms. Garrett also serves as a non-executive director of PROCEPT, a bio robotics company where she chairs the nominating and governance committee. She previously served on the board, audit committee, and as nominating and governance chair of Hillrom Corporation, a global medical technology company, acquired by Baxter corporation. She is the chair for the Danbury Hospital board, part of the Nuvance health system, where she also serves on the system’s strategic planning committee.
