Giles Wilson

Giles Wilson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Omnipresent since May 2022, Giles has previously held the position of CTO at Vionlabs from March 2018 to December 2021, and spent nearly eight years at Ericsson in various senior roles including CTO and Head of Portfolio & Architecture for Solution Area TV & Media. Notable responsibilities included technology strategy, portfolio management, and executive leadership of compression products. Earlier career experience includes significant positions at TANDBERG Television and NDS Ltd. Giles holds a Ph.D. in Control, Robotics, Parallel Processing and a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, both from Queen's University Belfast.
