Daan Den Hoed

Daan den Hoed is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the SOC Manager EU at ON2IT Cybersecurity since May 2020, where responsibilities include leading a multi-tiered security operations team for 24/7 threat detection and incident response. Previously, Daan held the role of SOC Team Lead and IT Security Engineer, focusing on network security engineering and client engagement through the Zero Trust model. Daan has further enhanced expertise through self-education in IT security and completed a trainee program in IT security specialization. Earlier experiences include roles in the outdoor industry, such as bike mechanic and ski instructor, and a graduation internship in R&D at Van Nicholas Bicycles. Daan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design Engineering from Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag and a certification in Full Stack Web Development from freeCodeCamp.
