Afroditi Panagiotakou has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of culture and communications. Afroditi started their career in 1998 as a Communications, PR, Media, and Consulting professional at various organizations including Cheek by Jowl, Royal Opera House, and Hellenic Centre. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a PR and Communications Consultant for the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and also served as the Editor in Chief at Highlights magazine during the same period. In 2006, they joined the Greek National Opera as the Head of Communications and was responsible for managing the organization's communication activities until 2009. Afroditi then joined the Onassis Cultural Centre Athens as the Director of Communication and Marketing in 2009, a role they held until 2017. Since 2017, they have held the position of Director of Culture at the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation.

Onassis Foundation’s mission is and will always be human centric.
