Tina Carson

Tina Carson is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the electrical transmission field. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Equipment Support at Oncor Electric Delivery since January 2020, Tina is responsible for maintaining underground transmission cable systems, developing training materials, and assisting in standards creation. Prior roles include Staff Engineer focusing on transmission standards, Technical Instructor at Shermco Industries, and Transmission Engineer at Southern Company, where oversight of overhead transmission line design was key. Additional positions held include Applications Engineer at Megger, High Voltage Cable Design Engineer at Nexans, and Applications/Electrical Engineer at HV Diagnostics. Tina holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from The University of Georgia, awarded in 2011.
