Steven Whitaker has a strong background in site reliability engineering and DevOps engineering. Steven started their career at iotec in 2014, where they focused on managing multiple clusters across different regions using Amazon Web Services. Steven utilized various AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and SQS and was responsible for automation and deployment management through Terraform, Ansible, and Packer. In 2018, they transitioned to Claranet as a Site Reliability Engineer before joining OnCorps in 2021 as the Director of Site Reliability.
Steven Whitaker completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Plymouth, from 2009 to 2013. Before attending university, they attended Ivybridge Community College from 2001 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services in August 2018.
