Amadou Mahtar Ba is a co-founder and Executive Chairman of AllAfrica Global Media, Inc., the largest content service provider specialised on Africa.
Ba sits on several boards and international working groups including the UN Secretary General’s High Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment, the World Economic Forum’s Network of Global Councils, the Africa Democratic Institute, ONE Africa Policy Advisory Board and serves as a member of the Panel of Judges for the CNN African Journalist Award.
He is a recipient of many distinguished awards and recognitions in Africa, Europe and the USA. Ba holds a Masters degree from the Ecole Française des Professionnels de la Communication in Paris and Paris 7 University (Jussieu).
