Onex
Derek leads Onex’ public financial reporting, working closely with the Onex Partners and ONCAP operating companies, providing guidance and support for their financial reporting requirements. Derek also oversees the performance reporting for Onex to its shareholders and for the Funds to its Limited Partners.
Derek is also responsible for Onex’ corporate reporting and treasury functions for its private equity, credit and wealth management platforms as well as supporting the private equity investment teams with transaction regulatory filings. Prior to joining Onex, Derek was a senior associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto.
Derek is both a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario and a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. Derek holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (with High Distinction) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
