Onex
Niazi is responsible for Onex’ corporate reporting and treasury functions for its private equity, credit and wealth management platforms, as well as providing guidance and support to the leadership teams of Onex’ platforms.
Prior to joining Onex, Niazi was the Vice President Controller at Choice Properties, Canada’s largest Real Estate Investment Trust, where he oversaw external reporting as well as corporate and operational accounting. Previously, he held increasingly progressive accounting and finance roles at Tim Hortons Canada and Barrick Gold Corporation.
Niazi is a both a Chartered Accountant in Ontario and a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from McGill University.
