Lee Coulson

Lee Coulson has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Their most recent position is as a Senior Leadership Apprentice at Bishop Grosseteste University. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Commercial at Ongo.

Before joining Ongo, Lee worked as the Commercial and Procurement Manager at Lincolnshire County Council, where they were responsible for leading a £10m refuse vehicle procurement project and supporting the council's commercialization agenda. Lee also researched and produced a comprehensive 25-year waste strategy report.

Prior to their role at the council, Lee worked at Essential Fleet Services Ltd as the Head of Rental Solutions and later as the Head of Commercial Development. During their time there, they successfully secured a significant contract and was responsible for setting and meeting revenue and profitability targets.

Lee also has experience working at Kier Group as the Head of Commercial Development and Bidding, where they spearheaded the externalization of the trading company and developed and implemented a corporate sales strategy.

Additionally, Lee worked at May Gurney Ltd as the Head of Bid Team and Marketing, where they implemented an innovative marketing program and improved bid processes. Lee also worked at TransLinc Ltd as the Sales and Marketing Manager, overseeing the sale of the business and implementing a company-wide CRM system.

Overall, Lee Coulson has a strong background in commercial and procurement management, as well as marketing and sales development.

Lee Coulson attended the University of Northampton from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a BTEC HND in Business and Finance. Lee then attended Grantham College of FE from 1988 to 1990 and earned a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance. In 2007, they obtained an NVQ in Management from ILM. Additionally, Lee has a Certificate of Professional Competence - National Passenger Transport, although the specific institution and year of obtaining it are unknown.
