Michael Mayfield has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. From 1991 to 1995, they worked as a Supervisor at Franklin Quest Co. Michael then transitioned to the legal field, working as an Attorney at Jardine Linebaugh & Dunn from 1998 to 1999. Mayfield then joined the law firm Ray Quinney & Nebeker in 1999 as a Partner, where they stayed until 2023. In March 2023, Mayfield began their current role as the Senior Vice President of Remarketing and Strategic Development at Onset Financial.
Michael Mayfield began their education at the University of Utah, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications from 1991 to 1994. Michael later attended the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law from 1995 to 1998, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree in Law.
