Michael Gore

Michael Gore serves as Vice President of Transaction Finance & Strategy, Chief Risk and Audit Executive, and Vice President of Business Integration at Ontario Power Generation since July 2017. As the Audit Committee Chair for the Halton Catholic District School Board since January 2023, Michael brings extensive experience in finance and strategy. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Manager at PwC Canada and PwC Toronto from 2014 to 2017 and 2010 to 2014, respectively, where responsibilities included managing client assignments and audits, primarily for clients in mining and manufacturing industries listed on stock exchanges. Earlier experience as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Glasgow involved managing audits for FTSE 100 Groups and providing accounting guidance. Michael holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with International Accounting from the University of Glasgow.
