Vivek Kirpalaney

Vivek Kirpalaney has over two decades of experience in various managerial roles at Ontario Power Generation, beginning in 1999. Currently serving as the Sr. Manager of New Growth and Commercial Management, Vivek supports Operational Readiness for the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactors (SMR) Technology. Previous positions at Ontario Power Generation include oversight of Supply Chain Operations, innovation and analytics, and strategic sourcing, along with significant involvement in major project procurement within the Hydroelectric Division. Prior to this, Vivek held roles at AECL and Husky Injection Molding Systems, focusing on research projects and design engineering, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
