Steven Murphy

Steven Murphy, PhD, ICD.D, currently serves as the President and Vice Chancellor of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, a position held since March 2018. Prior to this role, Steven was Dean and Professor at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, overseeing a budget of $60 million, a faculty of 250, 100 staff members, and 11,000 students. Steven's earlier experience includes serving as Associate Dean of Research and External Relations at Carleton University's Sprott School of Business and as an Organizational Psychologist for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Education credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Behaviour from Carleton University and ongoing studies towards a Master of Laws in Innovation, Law and Technology at the University of Toronto.
