First Nigerian In History To Receive The Ontario Medal For Young Volunteers at Ontario

Fikayo Aderoju CSM, CSPO, is a prominent young leader with a substantial track record in social impact and economic development. Currently serving as the First Nigerian in History to receive the Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers with the Ontario Government, Fikayo has also been recognized as a recipient of the prestigious Diana Award in 2023 and named a Top 30 Youth Changemaker by Plan International Canada. Fikayo holds leadership positions as President of the Canadian Young Economic Forum and Executive Chairman of the York University Black Alumni Network Board, in addition to being a World Economic Forum Global Shaper for the Toronto Hub. With a solid educational foundation from Harvard University and York University, Fikayo founded Project Impacting Lives to support the homeless and previously served as Head of Housing for the Toronto Youth Cabinet and Senior Project Manager for the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals.
