Paolo Simeone

Paolo Simeone has a diverse work experience spanning over more than a decade.

- Paolo is currently working as a Product Data Scientist at ONTOFORCE since November 2018.

- Prior to that, from November 2016 to October 2018, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Universiteit Gent.

- In 2015, they worked as an Information Engineer, Head of R&D, and Developer at Multigence GmbH.

- From February 2011 to February 2014, they worked as a Research Scientist at the European Commission, where they focused on developing a visual tool for customs to recognize prohibited export items, involving technologies like Semantic Zoom techniques, image processing, and coding in various languages.

- In addition, they have had research positions at the University of Cassino, University of Salerno, and TU Delft, where they contributed to various research projects and also took on teaching responsibilities.

Paolo Simeone pursued their education in the field of engineering. Paolo earned a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, which they completed between 1998 and 2005. Subsequently, they went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the same university, completing their studies between 2005 and 2009.
