Mike Burmeister has over three decades of experience in data recovery and operations management. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Operations at Ontrack since 1991, Mike has held various leadership roles including Director of Data Recovery Operations and Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include assessing the technical capabilities and operational efficiency of the Data Recovery Engineering organization and conducting statistical performance analysis of laboratories. Previously, Mike was involved in starting and managing a Washington D.C. office focused on data recovery for the government sector and served as a Senior Data Recovery Engineer, providing advanced solutions to complex data loss issues. Mike began their career as an intern at UNISYS, focusing on mainframe benchmarking and reporting, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bemidji State University.
