Bronwyn O'Toole started their work experience at Automsoft in 2010 as a QA Engineer and Customer Support. In this role, they developed test cases and test suites, liaised with developers, and performed testing within the software development lifecycle. Bronwyn also configured IIS, DCOM, and tested products on different Windows OS using VMware.
In 2012, they joined AT&T as a Solutions Engineer and API Developer for the Black Flag Project. Here, they developed RESTful sample applications in PHP, Java, and Ruby for the AT&T API Platform, including MMS, SMS, Speech, Advertising, Call Control, and more. Bronwyn also conducted regression testing on all language sample applications.
Later in 2012, Bronwyn joined Sentaca as a Telecommunications Engineer for the TELUS SDF Project. Their responsibilities included validating operator APIs using SOAP UI, designing and executing Unix server network audit scripts, and performing comprehensive SDF Lab and Production Platform upgrades.
At Sentaca, they also held the role of Developer/Partner Support Engineer for the TELUS SDF API Platform. Bronwyn performed onboarding and troubleshooting activities, owned the API gateway support mailbox, and resolved API issues. Bronwyn also provisioned shortcodes, tested APIs using Postman and SoapUI, developed PHP RESTful sample web applications, and collaborated with various teams across the organization. Additionally, they migrated vendors and APIs from the legacy platform/portal to the new platform/portal.
Bronwyn is currently working at Ookla as a Technical Service Engineer, starting in 2020. No end date is provided for this position.
