Matt Tucker has extensive experience in software development. Matt started their career as a Software Engineer at Versuslaw in 1998 and then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at The Cobalt Group from 2000 to 2003. Matt continued their software development career at Amazon as a Web Developer from 2003 to 2004. Matt then joined Speakeasy as a Software Development Lead from 2005 to 2009, and later worked as a Lead Software Design Engineer at Big Fish Games from 2009 to 2010. Matt then returned to Speakeasy as a Software Development Lead from 2010 to 2011. After that, they worked at Research In Motion as a Senior Software Engineer from 2011 to 2011. Matt then joined Double Down Interactive as a Senior Software Engineer from 2011 to 2014, where they focused on backend Java and Scala development. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at 5AM Solutions, where they built applications in the healthcare industry using technologies such as Spring Boot, Angular, and MongoDB. Currently, Matt works as a Software Architect at Ookla.
Matt Tucker attended Saratoga High School from 1985 to 1988. Matt did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera.
