Ioana Calce

Ioana Calce is an experienced leader in operations and strategy within the healthcare sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Oova since December 2024. Previously, Calce held the position of Acting Head of Operations for Population Health at Mass General Brigham, where management of risk for 600,000 patients and oversight of a clinical operations team of 200 were key responsibilities. As Interim COO and Advisor at Elektra Health, a women's digital health startup, Calce played a crucial role in operational performance and scaling efforts, including the launch of the first health insurance menopause coverage model in the U.S. Additionally, Calce has provided strategic advisory services as a self-employed consultant and held the position of Head of Business Operations at Springtide Child Development. Calce holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
