Ioana Calcev

Ioana Calcev serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Oova since December 2024. Previously, at Mass General Brigham, Calcev held the position of Acting Head of Operations for Population Health from July 2022 to December 2024, managing risk for 600,000 patients and overseeing a clinical operations team across multiple states. As Interim COO and Advisor at Elektra Health from January 2022 to December 2024, Calcev was responsible for operational performance within a women's digital health startup, facilitating fundraising and the introduction of the country's first health insurance menopause coverage model. In addition to these roles, Calcev has worked as a self-employed Strategy and Operations Advisor since November 2021, providing strategic leadership to healthcare organizations, and served as Head of Business Operations at Springtide Child Development from June 2020 to October 2021. Calcev holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
