Cindy Marques, CFP®, is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in various roles within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Director and Financial Planning & Education Specialist at Open Access Limited since September 2022, Cindy focuses on delivering innovative group retirement services. As Co-Founder and CEO of MakeCents since May 2021, Cindy emphasizes financial coaching and workshops for Canadian millennials, while also acting as President of the Advocis Toronto Chapter since July 2019, advocating for professionalism in the financial advisory profession. Additionally, Cindy is a Certified Financial Planner® at Dressed to Invest, providing practical financial literacy, and has held multiple roles as a Life & Health Insurance Broker with organizations including Dundas Life, HUB Financial Inc., and Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network, as well as serving as an Investment Fund Advisor with Desjardins Financial Security Investments Inc. Cindy holds a Post-Graduate Certification in Financial Planning from George Brown College and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Philosophy, Physics, and Engineering from York University.
