Bijan Golkar is the Vice President of Engineering at AirHop Communications, with a career spanning over nine years in various engineering roles including Director of Systems Engineering and Principal Systems Engineer. Expertise includes system-level modeling, simulation, and optimization of LTE RAN, design of Self-Organizing Networks (SON) for heterogeneous cellular networks, and performance evaluation within multi-vendor environments. Additionally, Bijan contributes to projects with the Open Networking Foundation and Telecom Infra Project, and has played a leadership role in the Small Cell Forum, receiving nominations for the Individual Contributor's Award.
