Scott Karlen

Scott Karlen is a Senior Engineering Technologist at Open Ocean Robotics since January 2022, previously serving as a Lab Technologist at Camosun College from January 2018 to January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Electronic Technologist CO-OP with the Canadian Coast Guard in 2017, and a position as Railway Labourer with Canadian Pacific Railway from August 2014 to September 2015, where responsibilities included coordinating inspections of freight containers and railcars. Scott also operated as a self-employed Construction Contractor with S Karlen Contracting from May 2009 to July 2014. Scott holds a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology from Camosun College, earned between 2015 and 2017.
