Gregory A. Maniatis is a seasoned professional in global migration policy and international affairs. Currently serving as the Director of the Office of the Vice President for Global Programs at Open Society Foundations since January 2010, Gregory has also held roles such as Program Director for the International Migration Initiative and Senior Fellow. As a contributor and freelance writer, Gregory has collaborated with prominent publications including The New York Times and Foreign Affairs since November 2001. Between January 2014 and June 2018, Gregory co-directed the Migration Project at Columbia University's Global Policy Initiative.
