Murtada Karjikar MBA, CMA has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Earlier in their career, they worked at Kuwait Telecommunication Company- VIVA as a Financial Reporting Senior Manager and Budget and Planning Manager. Murtada also served as the Group Financial Accounting Team Lead at Zain, where they were responsible for financial statement consolidation and budget preparation. Murtada started their career as an Accounting Head at AlArfaj Group.
Murtada Karjikar has a diverse education history. Murtada completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mithibai College of Arts Chauhan Institute of Science and A.J. College of Commerce and Economics from 1993 to 1996, with a focus on accounting. Murtada furthered their education by obtaining a Global MBA from The University of Manchester between 2010 and 2012, specializing in strategic management, global business, and corporate finance.
In addition to their academic degrees, Murtada Karjikar has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Murtada became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) through the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in January 2009. Murtada has also obtained certifications in different areas, such as Odoo Certification Version 13 from Odoo in February 2020, Configurable Security Fundamentals, Workday Composite Reporting Certification, Medium Enterprise Certification, Workday Spend Certification, and Workday Financial Services Core from Workday in various months of 2018 and 2019. Additionally, they hold an Odoo v12 Certification, but the specific date of acquisition is not provided.
