Alan Ge

Alan Ge has had a varied work experience in technical project management, business operations engineering, machine learning engineering, account management and data analysis. Alan worked at OpenAI from 2010 to 2018 where they were a technical project manager and business operations engineer. Their roles included coordinating delivery schedules and managing requests from strategic partners, building tools to optimize cost centers, expanding revenue operations and working with finance and product management to plan capacity and profitability. Alan also worked as a machine learning engineer at OpenAI from 2010 to 2014. Before joining OpenAI, they were employed at Dataminr from 2004 to 2010, where they were an account manager and data analyst responsible for continuously improving accuracy and efficiency of analytics and reporting infrastructure, driving process optimization and shaping the next generation of analytics platforms.

Alan Ge obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in the years 1996 to 2000. Alan then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2004.
