Boris Power

Boris Power currently serves as the Head of Applied Research and a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, alongside a part-time role as a Technical Advisor for the OpenAI Startup Fund. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Science Senior Manager at Accenture following the acquisition of Mudano, where Boris was the Lead Data Scientist. Additional roles include R&D Data Scientist specializing in deep learning and a Software Engineer at Skyscanner, where responsibilities included machine learning and backend service development. Earlier positions at The University of Edinburgh involved systems development, teaching assistance, and research programming. Boris holds a BSc in Artificial Intelligence and pursued a PhD in Deep Reinforcement Learning at the same institution.
