Lisa Pan

Lisa Pan has been a Senior Tax Counsel at OpenAI since August 2022. Before that, they worked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from 2017 to 2022 as a Tax Associate, where they advised clients on tax matters related to M&A, joint ventures, financing, and tax-exempt organizations. In 2016, they worked as a Summer Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Additionally, they were a Summer Law Clerk in the Tax Division at the United States Attorney's Office in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at Seiler LLP from 2013 to 2014 and as a Tax Associate at PwC from 2012 to 2013.

Lisa Pan earned a BA in Economics from Cornell University from 2007 to 2011. After graduating, they attended Cornell Law School from 2014 to 2015, then transferred to New York University School of Law from 2015 to 2017 where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
