Reza Zamani

Reza Zamani has a diverse work experience spanning across several renowned companies including OpenAI, Meta, Quantcast, Intel Corporation, ReDriven Power Inc, and Queen's University. Beginning in 2002, Reza worked as a research assistant and teaching fellow at Queen's University. Reza worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ReDriven Power Inc in 2011-2012, where their main focus was on developing wind turbine operating systems and their control algorithms. From 2012 onwards, they started working at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer and a developer for Advanced Workload Characterization Tools. At Quantcast, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning, and at Meta, they served as Engineering Manager and Staff Software Engineer until January 2023. Currently, Reza works as an Engineering employee at OpenAI.

Reza Zamani holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University, which was completed in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University in 2005. Reza also graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2002.
