Scott Mayer McKinney

Scott Mayer McKinney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering, particularly in the healthcare sector. Currently, Scott serves as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since July 2022. Prior to this role, Scott was an Engineering Lead at Google Health from March 2017 to July 2022, focusing on artificial intelligence applications for breast cancer screening and serving as the lead author on a publication in Nature. Scott's previous positions include Senior Data Scientist at Enlitic, where deep learning was utilized to enhance diagnostic speed and accuracy, and Data Scientist at Google, specializing in display and video ads. Scott began a career in data science as an intern at Facebook, analyzing data for Instagram, and also worked as an Informatics Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital, conducting research in sleep physiology.
