Emily Allinson serves as the Head of User Centred Design at Opencast Software, where leadership involves guiding a team of Content Designers, Interaction Designers, User Researchers, and Service Designers to champion accessible and inclusive design. With a robust background in UX and content strategy, previous roles include Senior UX Content Strategist at Orange Bus, where Emily established a content team and defined two new roles, and experiences as a Web Content Specialist and Web Content Officer at Sage and Newcastle University, respectively. A foundation in digital content strategy was built at GCSEPod, while earlier freelance work involved language teaching and copyediting. Educational qualifications include a Research Master's degree in Area Studies from Leiden University, a BA in Japanese Studies from SOAS University of London, and a study abroad program at Kyushu University.
