Henry Rex is a seasoned professional in government relations and public sector engagement, currently serving as Director of Government Relations at Opencast since November 2023. Previously, at Microsoft from January 2022 to October 2023, Henry acted as Central Government Industry Adviser, focusing on public sector demand signals and strategic industry plans. Before this role, Henry held multiple positions at techUK from February 2016 to January 2022, including Associate Director for Government & Health, where responsibilities involved building relationships with government agencies. Henry’s experience also includes serving as Policy & Communications Adviser at the University of Cambridge, bridging the gap between government and academia. Henry holds an MA (Hons) in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of St Andrews.
