Daniel De la Rosa has worked in the technology industry since 1996. Daniel began their career as a Pinche Intern at DGSCA-UNAM before joining Cisco Systems in 1998 as a Technical Marketing Engineer and Customer Support Engineer. In 2005, they were promoted to Technical Marketing Engineer for the ASR1000 and 7200 products. In 2017, they took the role of Manager, Infrastructure and Automation Services at Broadcom Inc. In 2018, they became the Customer Support Manager at Lumina Networks, where they managed a team of customer support engineers to resolve SDN SP complex issues and deliver reports on SLOs. In 2019, they were the Release Manager at the OpenDaylight Project. Currently, they are the Product Owner at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions.

Daniel De la Rosa obtained their MS in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1996 and 1998. Daniel then obtained their EE engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between 1990 and 1995. In February 2022, they obtained the OpenDaylight Contributor certification from The Linux Foundation.
