J. Marty Nowlin has extensive experience in human resources, holding various leadership positions throughout their career. J. Marty started at Crowe Horwath LLP as a SR HR Consultant from 1997 to 2000. J. Marty then moved to AIG, where they worked as a Human Resources Manager from 2000 to 2003. Following that, Nowlin joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where they held roles such as Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Director, VP Human Resources - CSS, and VP Human Resouces - MAS from 2003 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Nowlin served as the Vice President of Human Resources at ManpowerGroup. J. Marty then joined Sears Holdings Corporation as Vice President of Human Resources from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Nowlin is employed at OPENLANE as the Senior Vice President - People / Human Resources, responsible for driving human resources strategies and overseeing talent management, change management, succession planning, and training and development programs for a team of over 10,000 members and annual revenue of $2 billion.
J. Marty Nowlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (Finance and Management) from Indiana University Bloomington in the period from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Motorola Solutions in 2005.
