James Dixon

James Dixon is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at OpenLight since March 2025 and as CFO/Advisor at Exinda Therapeutics since February 2022. Previously, James worked as an independent finance and strategy consultant from September 2019 to February 2022, focusing on areas such as M&A, forecasting, and budgeting. James held significant roles at Cisco from August 2003 to August 2019, including Senior Director of Finance for the Data Center Networking Group, where oversight included FP&A and strategic planning. Prior experience includes senior finance management positions at Intel Corporation, where leadership encompassed mergers and acquisitions as well as P&L responsibilities for network products. James holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from California State University, Chico, and completed the Cisco Executive Leadership Program at The Wharton School.
