Jackson Chabot serves as the Director of Advocacy and Organizing and Director of Public Space Advocacy at Open Plans, Inc. since June 2020, focusing on public space policy and management through research, policy proposals, and coalition building. Previous roles include Transportation Policy Associate where Jackson authored articles and co-hosted discussions on NYC's street management. As a consultant at Project for Public Spaces, responsibilities included research coordination for Healthy Places. Jackson's experience also encompasses a System Analyst position at P3 Global Management, urban planning consultancy for the City of New Haven, and research roles at various organizations including the International Catholic Migration Commission. An educator by training, Jackson holds degrees in International Relations from Boston University and Urban Placemaking and Management from Pratt Institute.
