Hermann Mike

Hermann Mike has a diverse work experience in the banking and technology industry. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Switch Engineer at Senator Cards. In 2006, they joined I&M Bank Ltd as a Senior Switch Engineer. From 2007 to 2013, they served as a Technical Manager at Equity Bank Limited. In 2014, they moved on to KCB Bank Group where they held the position of Manager - Card & Switch Support for seven months. In the same year, they joined Visa and worked as a Senior Manager - Client Support & Implementation until 2016. Hermann then took on the role of Director - Market Readiness & Support at Visa, where they were responsible for implementing new technologies. Hermann Mike is currently working as the Regional Director - Business Development for the Sub-Saharan Region at OpenWay, starting from June 2021.

Hermann Mike completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Nairobi from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in IMIS at Strathmore University, which they completed in 2004. After a break from formal education, they resumed their studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Computing from the University of Nairobi, completing it from 2012 to 2018.
