Rory Avery

Rory Avery currently serves as an Internal Communications and Engagement Partner at The Openwork Partnership since September 2022. Prior to this role, Rory was employed at Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd. from January 2017 to July 2022, holding various positions including Corporate Communications and Employee Engagement Manager, where responsibilities included leading communication efforts and reporting to the executive board. Additional experience includes roles as Communications Specialist and Coordinator at Honda, Team Manager at Synchro Motorsport, and Marketing Communications & PR Officer at New College Swindon. Rory's earlier career involved working as a Media Operator at Sky and an Entertainment PR intern at Full Fat Agency, along with a position on the Video Crew for the International Paralympic Committee. Education was completed at Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism, following attendance at Hele's School from 2003 to 2010.
