Andy Gooden

Andy Gooden is a highly experienced data scientist and software engineer with a robust track record in machine learning, signal processing, and software development across multiple companies. Currently a Staff Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at OpenX, Andy has led significant projects involving the migration of machine learning models to cloud infrastructure, the development of advanced deep learning architectures, and mentorship of interns. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist positions at Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc., and Smiths Detection, where Andy contributed to innovative algorithms and systems for data classification and sensor fusion. Early career experience at Hewlett Packard involved leading a team to develop image processing algorithms. Andy holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
