Michael Hurst-Hopf holds a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. With experience spanning various companies such as Kaiser Electronics, Tandem Computers/Compaq/Hewlett Packard, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Michael has worked extensively as a Senior Reliability Engineer. Currently serving as the Senior Systems Reliability, Maintainability and Safety Engineer at Ophir Corporation, Michael is responsible for providing reliability, maintainability, and safety deliverables for a range of military and commercial avionics products. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in analyzing and improving product reliability and safety through techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and FMEA.
