Rajal Upadhyaya

Rajal Upadhyaya is an accomplished financial executive and strategic advisor with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Roam and as an Investment Committee Member at EG Capital, Rajal also holds senior advisory roles at Ev2 Ventures and Ebonia Capital, alongside a position as Director on the Board of Africure Pharmaceuticals Limited. Previously, Rajal was a Founding Partner and Managing Director at Catalyst Principal Partners, and served as New Business Ventures Director at Diageo, where responsibilities included driving growth initiatives in Africa. Early career included roles at Marakon Associates as a Consultant, PricewaterhouseCoopers in Project Finance and Privatisation, and Pipal as an Associate in Project Finance. Rajal holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from London Business School, is a CFA Charterholder, and earned a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
