Tonui Kiprotich

Tonui Kiprotich is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Supplier Development Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Roam, where responsibilities include designing and approving the electric bus body while ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimizing local production schedules. As the Roam Hub Manufacturing Head, Tonui manages the entire fabrication and deployment process of the Roam Charging Hub. Previously, Tonui held the position of Production Manager at Compact Poles & Services Ltd, focusing on production schedules and quality standards, and served as a Production Supervisor at ROMAGECO KENYA LIMITED, where leadership in daily production efforts was paramount. Tonui began a career as a Quality Engineer at Hydraulic Hoses & Pipe Manufacturers Ltd, emphasizing the development of work instructions and maintaining quality standards. Educationally, Tonui holds a BSc in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
