Pedro Moneo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Pedro is the CEO and Founder of Opinno, an international open innovation network that connects entrepreneurs, technology specialists, and investors. Pedro has been with Opinno since November 2007. Pedro is also a Senior Advisor at NASA, specializing in cross-industry innovation summits, starting from November 2016. Pedro Moneo is a member of the Board of Advisors at ESCP Business School since January 2019. Pedro has also worked as the publisher for MIT's Technology Review in Spanish/Portuguese since October 2008. Pedro Moneo founded and served as the CEO of Entrepreneur Capital, an angel investing vehicle for tech startups, starting from December 2009. Pedro was the publisher for Harvard Business Review in Spanish online from August 2015 to November 2018. Before that, Pedro Moneo worked as the Deputy Director General at Fedit Technology Centers of Spain from April 2006 to November 2007. Pedro gained experience as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture from January 2003 to April 2006. Pedro Moneo's career started as a researcher in Advanced Reactors, Reactor Analysis, and Engineering Division at Argonne National Laboratory from March 2002 to October 2002.
Pedro Moneo's education history includes obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2002. Pedro also earned a degree in Nuclear Engineering from INSTN in 2002. In 2001, they studied Hydraulics Engineering at Toulouse INP. Pedro has participated in various executive seminars and programs, such as the Aspen Institute Executive Seminar in 2016 and the Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century program at Harvard Kennedy School in 2017. In 2020, they completed the Transformative Leadership for Sustainability and Resilience program at Stanford University. Most recently, in 2022, Pedro attended Princeton University to pursue further education on Advancing the Global Energy Transition.
