Beat Huesler has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Beat began their career as an Architect at KPF from 1988 to 1990. Beat then went on to establish their own company, Huesler Architekten, where they served as the owner from 1996 onwards. In 2008, Huesler took on the role of Director European Office at Oppenheim Architecture. More recently, in 2019, they worked as a Strauch Visiting Critic in Sustainable Design at Cornell University.
Beat Huesler obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture from Cornell University, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Beat continued their education at Cornell University and earned a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree in Architecture from 1989 to 1993. Prior to their studies at Cornell University, Beat Huesler attended Schule für Gestaltung Basel from 1983 to 1984, where they completed a Vorkurs B in the field of Vorkurs.
