Layla O'Kane

Layla O'Kane currently serves as the Director of Data Analytic Solutions at Opportunity@Work, since May 2024. Previously, O'Kane held multiple roles at Lightcast from August 2018 to May 2024, including Research Director and Senior Economist. O'Kane's experience also includes a position as a Research Assistant at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on gender and technology issues, and serving as a Teaching Assistant, where training in Stata for incoming students was provided. Before this, O'Kane worked as a Data Analytics Consultant for the Boston Women's Workforce Council, designing data collection methodologies for wage gap analysis, and as an Associate Analyst at NERA Economic Consulting, managing a team during a significant corporate acquisition. O'Kane holds a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
