Chris Baird has a diverse work experience, primarily in B2B sales and general management in the "Machine to Machine" (M2M) and "Internet of Things" (IoT) industries. Chris served as the President and CEO of OptConnect starting in October 2018. Before that, they held the position of President at OptConnect from May 2017. Baird also worked as the Executive Vice President at OptConnect, where they played a significant role in the company's growth and expansion in the IoT space. Prior to OptConnect, they served as the Operations Manager at eGlobal from 2008 to 2011. Their career began as a Sales Specialist at ATMequipment.com from 2006.

Chris Baird has studied Spanish Language and Literature at Weber State University. In addition, they have pursued Business Administration and Management, General at Western Governors University. Furthermore, in November 2016, Chris obtained a certification in Project Management from Lynda.com.
